Gleit and Li were among five Meta executives - some of the most powerful women at the firm after Sandberg's departure - who shared their advice with Insider for other women hoping to climb the corporate ranks. Under Sandberg's leadership, many women at Meta have reached the upper ranks of the company, whether Naomi Gleit, who was Meta's 29th employee and is the second-longest serving employee after Zuckerberg, or Susan Li, who is set to be one of the youngest CFOs among Fortune 500 companies when she assumes that role in November. She's also been an advocate for female leaders in the workforce. Since joining what was then Facebook in 2008, Sandberg has been widely credited as the driving force behind the company's historic profitability. ![]() ![]() She's set to remain on the company's board.
